::Photo-a-day//travel:: [Miss Peacock]

[Taken in Lokrum, Croatia @ 20/6/2011]

It was taken in a island near to Dubrovnik, called Lokrum.

It is a paradise for me, there is a small lake, called Mrtvo More (Dead Sea), a unique lake linked with the sea, crystal clear and calm suitable for bathing and it is a favourite resort to many visitors.

Secondly,  the island is also inhabited by families of peacocks, it is not hard to see how they show their beauty to me :) I thought I saw 20+ peacocks around me at the same time. Is it amazing?! :)

They won't get threaten by the visitors like me even I get close to them. So I can take lots of close portrait in various gestures, angles.

I am so surprised that my photo was posted in flickr's Explore front page, and I am honored that it is rank #8!!
I know that EXPLORE is just a matter of "random" & "data stats",
so, I won't mean it so much :)
Nonetheless I am glad it giving me the chance to extent my Flickr network.
