[Before & After]: Gazing from the gate

I was wandering alone in the medina of Essaouira in the morning, walking through the alleys and followed the sunlight that led me to here and watched this scene. A schoolboy was standing here and gazing outside the gate, I have no idea what he was waiting for.

[Before & After]: The banana stall

That is the then first scene I saw when I arrived Essaouira.
Rustic, laid-back, sunshine, sea-breeze, lots of food and stalls, fish village all these words come to my mind when I am thinking of Essaouira.

This photo is a bit over-exposed, so I would like to tune down a bit to enhance the details, and keep the mood that I think it should be.

[Before & After]: The shadow painter

I got jet-lag in the first few days of the Morocco trip, woke up at 6am and wandered alone in Essaouira with my cameras.

I first walked around the alleys inside the medinia, since it is too early that no one is on the street. At around 8, children went to school, shopkeepers was getting ready for their stuff, locals were having breakfast and enjoying the morning mint tea in the small restaurants.

Here is one of the photo I took in the market while local people were painting the wall. The morning sun is so amazing that created a spectacular shadow on the wall, making the composition funny, looked like a painting.

Chefchaouen Photo Batch 1

Chefchaouen is one of the charming town we visited in Morocco. Obviously we was obsessed by the blue wall, blue passages, blue doors. Hopefully our eyes didn't get hurt or we didn't feel blue while wandering the blue allies.

[Before & After]: Rainy Venice

Most people hate the rainy weather when you are on the road. It happened on the first day I arrived Venice, and I insisted to wander around with my cameras to look for some shots.
Rainy days could somehow create the mood for your shots.
You can also enhance the mood much stronger by adjust the white balance in Lightroom.

[Before & After]: Dramatic seagulls crowd

I did not edit too much for this one, since I want to keep its original sense of mood & tone.

My Favorite moments in Turkey trip

No.1: Up in the air

Taken in a hot airballoon ride over the land of Cappadocia at dawn.
I was excited of seeing such scene, not because of the bird-eye view, cos the morning haze soaking up the atmosphere here.
I was wishing I could see such magnificent scene in my last Italy trip, I wokeup early and begging for it, however I couldn't see it lastly, it never ceased to amaze me though!

This time, we woke up at 4am and took the shuttle Van to the gathering point. We started the ride at 5:30am when the sun is ready to rise. We flew up to 1000 feet high and right above the morning haze, the land seems like to be covered with a soft gauze, the land and sky are blended well by the mist!
I was really excited and unbelievable I could see this.

No.2: Golden Cotton

Another enchanting moment taken in Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) at sunset. The sun glimpsed from the cloud, shining above the flatland.

No.3: Sky runway

It is unbelievable that I see such a breathtaking scene in Turkey, while we were on the way to Ankara.
It is the salt lake and its size is as large as the whole HongKong area. And the perfect weather gave us the chance to see such clear reflection, endless horizon and bluesky. All these make me thinking of the salt lake in Bolivia, known as "Mirror of sky".

It is the "bonus" of the trip, that I didnt expected.
Life is full of surprises, also a journey of discovery!!
